Pro-Active Evolution FAQs.

What the hell is Pro-Active Evolution?

There's nothing natural about our selection. Pro-active Evolution is all about taking an active role in our own evolution. Why sit back and wait for 'God' or worse yet 'Science' to take care of our evolution? And why should future generations reap the benefits of our genes' hard work? We want evolutionary results, and we want them now.

That's the Pro-Active Evolution promise.

Is chopping off my arm 'evolution'?

No. Evolution is classed as a 'positive change'.

So, if I leave the room...and come back wearing a hat. Is THAT evolution?

No. We are arbitrarily defining evolution as a 'permanent, positive change to one's genetic makeup'.

What do you think about Science?

We are in favour of a complete revision of all traditional scientific fields. We want to scrap everything we think we 'know' and start from a blank slate.

Who is more of a Pro-Active Evolutionist: Batman or Spiderman?

Most would say Spiderman, as he has had his evolutionary progress dramatically sped up. But his was actually a passive-evolution: he didn't mean to get bitten by that spider. We prefer Batman who may not be genetically modified but who has a great "Can Do" attitude. A pro-active evolution attitude.

What is the role of the individual in Pro-Active Evolution?

The Individual is key in the Proactive Evolution movement. We don't care about the evolution of the entire species as a whole, nor do we care about future generations. We care about individual results in the here and now.

So, you are not affiliated with Darwinism?

Heaven's no. He was certainly great in some ways - eg he was totally into evolution - but he was not proactive enough for our tastes, preferring instead some very tedious drawn-out processes over 'millions of years', not to mention his far-fetched stories of witchcraft and species magically turning into other species. We are in favour of what we call 'Uncommon Descent'.

What are the goals of Pro-Active Evolution?

In the long term we want to achieve a comprehensive 'theory of everything', encompassing our many theories including subjective time, determinism and unnatural evolution.

We are seeking to find the "Next Step" in human revolution. We are also looking to be the "Change" and ideally the "Final Link" in the evolutionary chain.

Do you agree with any of the following: Scientology, Nazism, Communism, Eugenics?

We would like to stress: NO.

(Apart from the communist one. In that case, we have to admit that we kind of are).

We are extremely liberal in our views and though we DO believe in alien planets and we DO believe in active evolution, we do not endorse genocide in any shape or form.

But you also don't believe in procreation either, do you? Do you want the entire human race to die off?

We are not that enamoured with the idea of breeding the next generation, no. We are not sure it qualifies as 'Pro-Active Evolution'. That doesn't mean we want everyone to die though. (At least not right now).

So who are the figureheads of Pro-Active Evolution?

The movement was founded by Mikhalia Dunn and Crystal Gallagher, two young girls with a lot of ideas about a lot of things, and not a whole lot of people who agree with them. That is why they created their own alternative to traditional science/religion/politics.

We also idolise Danny Kennedy, Alain De Botton, Kant, Einstein, Lenin, Lennon, Karl Marx, Nietzsche, Ellsworth Huntington and obviously the Dalai Lama.

Where can I find out more?
